Eurovision stars' opinion poll for Melodifestivalen

Juries from six European countries will have a say in the Melodifestivalen final this Saturday, and viewers around Sweden will feverishly vote to select the best entry for Europe. The importance of the international voice is increasing, and who would be better to listen to than the artists from the Eurovision Song Contest itself? Here are the votes from Poplight's special international jury: Mihai (Romania 2006), Safura (Azerbaijan 2010), Roberto (Latvia 2007 and 2008) and Vasyl (Ukraine 2010).

Lithuania: InCulto in trouble?

InCulto, the Lithuanian entry to this year's Eurovision is reportedly in trouble. Their entry "Eastern European Funk" is filled with political lyrics. Multiple Lithuanian media sources have reported on eurovision-spain's article about the problem. The EBU has started investigation on the severity of the issue. The main lyric that seems to attract attention is "survived the reds and two world wars" referring to the Soviet regime. The other lyric which is said to offend is the way Lithuanians and other Eastern European workers in the West are spoken about, cleaning the rich's houses and building the rich's homes.
